About the Foundation

The aim of the AMSF is to assist talented young Australian drivers reach the pinnacle of world motor sport, in particular the FIA Formula 1™ World Championship and the FIA World Rally Championship.

The Foundation not only financially contributes to drivers, but is also actively involved in the development and management of our talented drivers. Through the CAMS Rising Star and AMSF International Rising Star Programs, the AMSF ensures our talented young Australian drivers have every opportunity to succeed at the pinnacle of their chosen category.

Graduates from the programs the AMSF have to offer include Daniel Ricciardo, Will Power, Chris Atkinson, John Martin, Will Davison and James Courtney; who have all had enormous success both nationally and internationally. Led by the AMSF Patron Mark Webber, the Foundation is very proud of the achievements of our drivers and is looking forward to more success in 2010 and beyond.

To ensure the AMSF can continue to support our talented young Australian drivers reach the pinnacle of motor sport, your support is very important. The development and support of each young driver requires considerable funding, so every contribution, however small, will make a difference and ensure Australia remains a force in international motor sport.
